I remembered when i was in high school (back in Form 2 if i remembered correctly), we had science lessons in the lab and for no reason whatsoever, my idiotic classmate William made me cry cause he stuck a hot pen on my arm. U know how some pens have steel extensions for you to slip the pen on the pockets or book. He just had to go burn the pen on the bunsen burner and then stuck it on my arm. If i didnt know it better back then, i should have sought for burn treatment. The scar is still visible until today.

Nowadays you could actually buy those medical disposables from the pharmacies to treat scars and other unsightly skin conditions. Not sure if such medical disposable were readily available some 15-20 years ago (yes, that how old i am :P) but if i had applied a patch for burn treatment or something, then my scar would not have been apparent until today. Its not raised or anything but it does bring back memories of my past.
