The Thomas-Uber Badminton 2010 competition is held in Malaysia this year. It is one of the most prestigious badminton tournament held every two years.
Which team do you think will win ? Will it be China, Denmark or Japan ? or do you think Malaysia has a chance to win the cup at last ?
We were watching the Men’s Doubles earlier this evening and it was Malaysia vs Japan. Surprisingly, my son said the blue team (Malaysia) is losing. Nobody mention anything to him and then i asked him who is the winner and he said the white team.
Then i said “How do you know who is losing and who is winning?”
Son said “Blue one is losing ler ….” with a funny accent … (Mangrish ma..)
I said “You can look at the results on the top left. Blue team has 5 points and white team has 10 points”
Son said “Aiyo, why blue 5 points only. So lousy ….” rofl
I was like :/ and smiling at my husband.
Overall, Malaysia lost to Japan at the end. It was a tough fight as Malaysia won the first 2 sets, then Japan won the following 2 sets. In the end, Japan won the last game, the men’s singles.
If you need forecast results, email me and i’ll ask my son bwaahahhaa.
Malaysia will be going against Denmark in the semi-finals and most probably will be fighting against China (or South Korea, depending on who wins …. but it will mostly be China).

Malaysia is not up to standard.. sadly..
