Words of the day
By platinumgirl on May 22, 2009 in Home & Parenting
My little boy’s words of the day are now
- Oh my god !
- Oh my goodness !
- Shaddap (learnt from me … oops >_<. Bad mommy hehehe)
and the occasional ‘Stupid’. Sometimes i use this word to describe ignorant drivers on the road or on someone or something.
Once, i said Stupid Driver. End up the little fella said “Stoopid Garber ??!!”. I denied lied to him that i said that and tried to cover up by saying something else. So i asked “What is stoopid garber?”
My son said “Neh, you say one … stoopid garber” and smiles at me with a grin.
So i replied “Its stepid stupid garber (or rubber .. whatever la hehehe). Stupid is bad word. You dont follow me, okay? Next time if mommy say Stupid, you must say to mommy that its a bad word.” *winks*
Sometimes when i am talking to my hubs and need to use a bad word, i will spell it out. At least the little fella will not understand … for now that is ![]()

I always disliked people calling someone ’stupid’…and it is good that you are teaching your son not to say such things
I remember Jason Lo saying on the radio “When ever I want to curse in front of my children, I’d change the bad word to Barney.. and so i go “Owh, you BARNEY!!…”.. instead of “Owh you fu##king idiot”… hehehhe…
Stories about parenting can be so hilarious.

Lol. With kids around, seriously need to refrain from using ‘danger’ words. Sometimes when we angry, it doesnt sound so bad. But when your kids say it in front of you, it doesnt sound too good. Hahaha
