Da Boss (my son) has been sick since Sunday afternoon. Its a viral infection with cough, cold, fever and diarrhea. It seems bad as its been 3 days and his diarrhea seemed to have worsen. This morning alone, he went potty (poo-poo) about 4 to 5 times. I think he basically cleared his stomach / intestines as the last session was only a few small strands of poo to be seen. Not only that his fever never seem to get any better.

He took Ibuprofen this morning at about 11′ish but his temperature stood at about 38.7C uptil about 1.30pm. So about 20 minutes ago, i gave him a paracetamol suppository (as advised by the doc), hoping that his temperature will go down to below 37C. Luckilyy he was asleep and i did not have any problems inserting the suppository as it was a big challenge in the past few times we (Teh C and I) tried since he complained that his butt was painful and he would cry. Luckily i am still in my early pregnancy, else cleaning up and taking care of him will be a pain. Still, i am feeling exhausted already with the washing, cleaning up and having to listen to a whining fella … lolz.

The doctor gave us some oral electrolytes to mix with water and give him to drink to replenish his body minerals and fluids lost to diarrhea, but he doesnt any of it. So i gave him so glucose water instead. Will have to monitor his temperature and keep him cool.

It has started to rain now …. hope its a long rain as its been quite hot the past few days with only short 10 mins, but please dont interrupt my wireless broadband connection >_<
