Sincere apologies. I’m still alive but didnt do much updating on my blog.

Went to Ipoh for a 2D1N trip during the pre-deepavali weekend. It was a last minute decision so most popular hotels are snapped up and we settled for Seri Malaysia, a 2-star budget hotel. Oh my …. service was slow and have you ever heard of hotels whereby the reception doesnt answer the phone after 12-midnite. Asked for extra toilet papers also took the housekeeping staff more than half an hour to bring it over to our room. If you’re out of any toiletries after 11pm, you need to wait for the next day as the housekeeping stops working after 11pm. Haha

Driving was a breeze in Ipoh, except for certain areas in the old town area but got the hang of it after two or three times. There really werent many ppl over there. Could be because of the holidays? Teh-C said maybe ppl from KL (like us) gone down to places like Ipoh, Malacca or Singapore for a roadtrip while Ipoh-ians went down to KL ?

Anyway, tried the famous Ipoh White Coffee in Nam Heong and Sin Yuan Loong down at Bijih Timah street .. blah, nothing special la. Went down to Lost City of Tambun and got badly sun-burnt but not bad enough to have peeling skin. Just lame cherry-red skin, which was more visible on the back especially since i was wearing a swimsuit with a X-like back. Hence, i am going to tell my friends that i signed up for X-Men to save the world from devastation .. hehehe

Sorry no pictures. I drived most of the time as Teh-C is ‘road-blind’…. but he did most of the driving from KL-Ipoh-KL and during certain short drives in Ipoh.
