Last Friday night was one of the scariest experience that i ever had. I was at home with Da Boss. He has runny nose for the entire week and from Wednesday onwards, he was down with an eye infection and later a fever. I wanted to apply the eye ointment for him but he woke up instead. Felt that his body was really hot, so off we went to the fridge to get him the paracetamol and Rhinatiziol for his flu. He was a good boy to take those medicines and was happily sipping water by the cup while watching Lilo & Stitch on Astro. Then suddenly he choked (on his water) and puked. Arrghhh that didnt go well.

I picked him up and went straight to the bedroom. Seated him on the bed and took off his clothes. I was looking for a fresh pair of clothes when i heard a thump ~ on first glance, i saw that he fell on the bed and i thought that he was tired or playing around. But a second look showed that he was fidgeting / shaking seriously.. i rushed to his side and noticed that he was having a fit. I didnt know what to do at the time and started to cry ~ his face had turned blue. I felt helpless. So i called 999 for an ambulance and gave my name, address and told them what happened. Then i called my husband who was on the way home. My son’s fit subsided but he looked very tired and sounded as if he is trying to say something but in a helpless way .. if you know what i mean.

Moments later my hubby arrived and we considered of whether to wait for the ambulance or to rush to the hospital and decided the latter. The hospital called and asked for my address and i explained to them. Then we decided to go the hospital on our own. We rushed out of our apartment and was walking down the stairs at the end of the building when Teh-C remembered that he left the car keys in the house. Arrrghhh damn it. The worst thing is he forgot the house keys as well. Double dammit. I was feeling so hopeless. What can we do .. it was nearly midnite and its hard to catch a cab. Teh-C decided to try his luck and ram the door. After several unsuccessful loud attempts, the next door neighbor came out to see what was happening and so i explained to him. He asked whether we could go through the balcony and i thought that i did not locked the balcony door. So Teh-C went in and climbed over to our side of the balcony. Meanwhile my phone rang and the hospital called again to ask where our place was. I explained several times and then the neighbor said to forget about the ambulance and offered to send us. So scr*w the ambulance (apparently from HUKM).
