Hartz Chicken Kuching Sucks Big Time

I had my dinner earlier on at Hartz Chicken Buffet. Its an All You Can Eat American style buffet. Its located on the lower ground floor of Sarawak Plaza. Teh-C had a craving and no, he doesnt have PMS :P He just felt like eating at Hartz. Our last visit was like months ago. Our little boy tagged along as well.

My last visit at Hartz wasnt so good. This time, it was worser than the last visit and I’m pretty sure that I wont be going back anytime soon. Last time, you can actually request for a food item they had but which they didnt serve at that moment. We usually requested for the Hot Wings. It chicken wings which had been deep-fried and later soaked in a super hot and slightly sourish sauce. This time, they dont allow us to request for it. The big tall guy manning the Chicken Station (CS) (which had fried chickens, onion rings, deep-fried gizzards) said that it will come in after the chicken tenders (fried coated chicken breast strips) finishes. So we waited. Half an hour passed. Checked the CS, there’s about 4 pieces of those chicken tenders left. Wait and check again. The same.

Holy Cow ! What if another half an hour passed and that 4 pieces never taken by anyone. So i asked the supervisor. He gladly oblige and head to the CS to talk to the CS guy. Then, he was walking towards me and i was ready to pounce and he nodded that its done. Actually before that, Teh-C already ask him and he gave the same answer as the CS guy. Anyway, i went over to take the Hot wings and the CS guy only put 6 pieces in the tray. I personally feels that he is revolting, feeling unhappy from my pushing for hot wings ;)

There was 5 drummets and 1 wing. I prefer to get more wings, so i asked him whether there were more. He said no in a fumblish way (like Mr Bean) and pointed at the tray, indicating that the tray was all that they had. I asked him twice actually, just to reconfirm. He repeated his answers. He actually wants me to believe that when they prepare the hot wings, they would actually only prepare 6 pieces ???!!!

Thats it. I want to boycott Hartz in Kuching. Btw, their dishes are practically the same anyway. The 2 items that i love at Hartz are the Coleslaw (just right, sweet and slightly sourish and damn cold) and the delicious (but now Hartz Kuching super kedekut) Hot Wings. Sigh ! Its a pity how they work.

If anyone knows the Hartz management, please inform them. Goodbye Hartz Kuching !

  4. I agree with all of you guys.

Ehon - Their local Asian food in the rice section with veges and all, SUCKS !

Adrian - Its cheap but even so, dont be so stingy and serve shitty food. Dont think the US restaurants are like that.

Zeroimpact - Well, Teh-C can consume like 10 pieces of chicken + other extra stuff. As for me, around 6 pieces and coleslaw and mash and ice lemon tea.

2 pc chicken meal at KFC costs about RM7.xx
