Kireisan and Li Garden
By platinumgirl on Jul 25, 2007 in Coffee Talk, Foods Galore
Someone called my hubby the other day and guess who that person is ?
Apparently, its the captain from Li Garden. She called and asked whether i was the one who posted the Li Garden review in this site. Teh-C was quite surprise as he doesnt really read my blog (super busy ma). When he told me about it, I was quite surprised that she actually reads my blog, or perhaps someone tipped her off about my review.
Anyway, to the Captain who called, thanks for calling to explain. Sorry but i forgot your name Madam Captain. I think its Madam Chung. If its wrong, please leave a comment or email me to rectify.
I dont want to go into details about what she said over the phone, but i seriously hope that the standard of the staffs’ service as well as the particular food i had the other day can be improved. Some of the staff are ok, but seriously, all of them should be more attentive and friendly (smiling and happy to serve) to your customers, even when you are super busy or in a bad mood. Once, a F&B manager (or is it supervisor) told me that a lot of customers had complained to him that his hotel’s staff service is bad. He said to me, even if you have a family problem at home, it is no excuse for you to give bad customer service. Even he has problems, but he doesnt show them. He really is a friendly guy and he is Dino from Continental Hotel, Penang.
Honestly, after trying scallops in Li Garden the other day and having a bad experience, i dont think i want eat scallops in the near future. Unless they look kinda juicy and delicious. But how will i know , unless i i ordered the dish. I would love to go to Li Garden again. Lets see how. I think Li Garden should sponsor me to do a full review of the restaurant and its food.
Teh-C and I are foodaholics. We love food and we love to try out new makan places. For me, eating at a place should be a wholesome experience. So, from now on I will write a complete review (like Li Garden’s) on the makan place i’ve visited - the place, the food, the staff and the value. If you are looking for someone to review your restaurant/cafe and food, please do not hesitate to email me ( as stated in the About section on the right). I like just about all sorts of food - Chinese, Italian, Western, Malay, Indian, Indonesian, … etc etc
If you’re looking for a mystery shopper to review your store and the shopping experience, I have some relevant experience and am open to discussions. Do email me.
