Update on Exw*ll Electrical

Yess … its definitely confirmed that this stupid Exw*ll Electrical could be a scammer. Refer to my previous post on this company – EXW*LL ELECTRICAL, POSSIBLE SCAMMER .
I’ve mentioned that i emailed Bonuslink to find out whether this Exw*ll Electrical is their merchant / partner. This morning, the Bonuslink representative called and informed me that the company was not their merchant nor supplier.
Hmm, perhaps i should take this a step further. I am thinking of making an official complaint to the relevant government departments such as the Kementerian Perdagangan Dalam Negeri and the department in charge of consumer complaints. What do you think ?
As far as i know, they have an office in Crystal Complex, BDC and also in MJC Batu Kawah .. facing the main road. So be careful if you encounter these type of scheming companies, who are out to cheat you.

My friend, it’s people like you who take things too easy take makes them keep on looking opportunity to con the public. What happen if one you knew you are con for few thousand plus just for a purpose of getting a 100 or 200 plus ringgit product? Think about it, think hard. there are register as an ordinary business selling electrical stuff. Their mother compnay is kauwah holding based in johor, batu pahat.The person in charge is named by kelvin chia and the boss is named by tony, a johor guy. Hello anyone out there. I am one of the victims to this stupid con shop called Exwell electric sdn bhd at BDC crystal cineplex. It happened just yesterday and im still hoping to get back my money. I hope if anyone out there can help me. But the problem now is i already signed all their docs and they swiped my credit card (1.2k..which is not enuf).
Things happened yesterday evening at 4pm. As i was shopping around at bdc watson, there was two to three youngster distributing paper around outside the shop. They distribute their RM5 voucher to me and bring me upstairs to their shop. They ask me to sit down in front of their pc and ask me to try my luck if i can win some free gift by clicking three boxes in their computer system. Then they start to ask if i have a credit card. They gimme a surprise when the screen appeared a home theater system (Kinno brand), a maxcam shark infrared and a RM100 voucher. They all jump up with surprise and congratulate me. Then they make a phone call to someone..which they claim is their boss. They pass me the phone and they said their boss wana talk to me. The lady in the phone congratulate me saying i won the home theater system and the maxcam stuff. She ask me i have must follow 3 conditions in order to bring back all my prizes. First is the products must be for own use. 2nd..have to take photo as a prove i won the prizes..3rd i can help them to promote their product…sounds ok to me. I was so convinced by them at that time until i signed some their documents and pass them my IC. One of them then ask for my credit card and he said that the RM100 voucher can be use to buy the Okia brand master filter, can pay by installment every month. As the rest of their staff busy entertain me saying how good their product is, that guy keep asking for my credit card and at last i blindly pass it to him. As the rest busy talking to me (brain wash me!!) i didn’t realized that guy took my credit card to the back and swiped it! My credit limit is only 2k and they can only swipe 1.2k from my card. When he bring out the receipt and ask me to sign, i was so shocked they already swipe my card. They took out all my credit card balance! I was really mad at that time, i told them i don’t want any of the free gifts. I just want them to reverse back my money. One of their lead..a lady (tomboyish look)said to me they cannot reverse back the thing because all the docs already sent out. She then ask me to call one of their finance people and check with her if she can help me. At that time it was 6pm+ already. She ask me to call her tomorrow. On the next day i call this lady called liela. She said i need to fill up some sort of complaint form and submit to their head quarter. I ask her if i can just reverse back my money. She said she’s not sure becoz she’s not the boss.

If you dont sign the credit card slip, they cannot charge you. You can actually lodge a polic e report and also to the relevant ministries. I’ve heard of one such case and they report to this ministry located in Queen’s Court, King Centre (same block with FTMS). I forgot what is the Ministry’s name.
I wonder why the government allow this Exwell Electric to cheat the public openly?

I had just faced the same exact situation at Kuching ICT Mall. They used all the same tactics and strategy to make you lure for the offers. However, the sound system is over rated as Kinno.. There is no such brand and the sound sucks. The employees are very low on general knowledge. They are pushy on their water system which look like a cheap filter from 100 discount store.They want to sell it for $2989.00. It is a total crap as if you add up the Kinko and the water system, it should not be worth more than Rm700. So, I walked away from this trap. I was waiting for the punch line as there is no free lunch in this world. So there you have it, a legal scam… I can only say to avoid it and always think with senses. If they use pretty ladies, at least it might just work for the horny uncles. The lady (supervisor) butt crack is bigger than a wok. How hideously uncool.

Only interested in completing d sale with poor after sales service. they dun even dare 2 answer ur phone when u call.
I bought a water filter Neos brand at 1Borneo, Kota Kinabalu outlet which only cost them approx. RM1,400 and sell at d price of RM2,899 at a mark-up of more than 100%.
I would definitely understand if they planned 2 use it as a marketing strategy (Market skimming & loss leader strategy) but u hav 2 substantiate ur product 2 make it worth d premium consumer pd 4.
wit a poor after sales service i definitely would say poor services but not a conman.
They promised many thing which they could nver able 2 fulfill like a instalment plan for repayment which they never arrange wit d credit card company.
Instead, they charged ur card in full n din deliver up to their promises as agreed.
When questioned, they told me tat they 4gotten 2 fill up a form which need my signature n asked me 2 get back 2 them. When actually, d form tat they mentioned is a new credit card application 2 transfer d amount previously charged 2 a new credit card account where they receive a refferal fee of RM50 each applicant from d financial institution.
Very well planned HUH!
Actually i’m pretty fine wit their strategy but i hav 2 tell u tat they’re pretty aggresive when trying 2 complete d sales. I would definitely lodge a complain 2 their supply chain if possible 2 stop all tis possible scam happenin in future.

One idea to get back the fund you swipe is by force. I saw a lot doing this and managed to get back their funds. No use to be gentleman to this kind of conman. hey, from what i know the so-called manager or boss you talk in the phone just right after u won the stupid prize is just any of their employee in any other branch. This is what i heard from. I am really dissapointed by the consumer department of not doing anything about this. Hey, maybe instead of just complainning here, every victim go and lodge a report to the consumer department. hope they can take action about this. i really hate them, ya know…

Yes,there are so many company that use the same modus operandi as exwell suh as aowa,sk classic,ecowas etc…exwell has branches in medan mall& wisma sanyan in sibu,mjc,bdc,wisma wan,one tj,green height in kuching,likas & 1borneo in sabah,their hq is at johor,also in other country such as indonesia,philiphine,vietnam etc…1 important thing is thier products has no sirim approval and absolutely made in china…bintulu and mukah has shut down…rm5 coupon is only a gimmick to sell their products…but some is free…but i am so shock..u know why?coz dis company has licence from goverment…trust me coz i’m exwell ex-worker…..but i’m pity of my friends that cheats people outside…they had 2 do it coz they need money to continue their lives…please dont blame them…blame the company…but i want all of you to know that exwell is better than other company out there,hard to believe??just try enter their shops then u will know which 1 is better…for those that had been cheated,dont worry,all d products have warranty and technician services….for recently people that swipes ur cards here…u can take ur money back,cooperate with KHDNHEP…that is only i can say….

If the modus operandi of this Ec*h**d is the same as Exwell, then it might be a con as well. The products of these companies are usually over priced and the brand is unrecognisable. Even branded stuff may be cheaper than the products these companies carry.

I want to ask, is SK classic is scamming company bcoz I bought water filter from them after I won my lucky draw, then I got Home Theater,so I thought they are register company and trust them and buy from them. Then, they ask me to pay using my RHB bank card to swiped my Rm 1000++ and the water filter is Rm 2799. Last month, same thing happend to me. Lucky draw, so lucky. Swipe my credit cards. Now, no goods, bank charge my credit cards (although I’ve tried to get the bank to cancel the transaction). Bank officer really no help, made me do more work. More paperwork. Running here and there. Now, credit card statement still got those charges… What is the bank doing?? Asked me to go KPDN as well.. No help. Sakit pala. Anyone can help?? I want my money back!!!

I had just faced the same exact situation at ecohood, lundu, yesterday (31/10/2009). They used all the same tactics and strategy to make us interested for the offers.
For the 1st offer, i get free of charge gift about RM4000++ and voucher RM100. but i have to buy their product around RM2000++. i spend RM2899 cash for the energy water system that price Rm2999-RM100 (voucher RM100).
then, the manager call the staff, tell me that i’m the one of their icon product because i bought the energy water system just now, and i have to answer 4 question to get another free gift (around RM7000+++ & voucher RM150, and also have a chances to go to ecohood annual dinner and get free ticket to go either, australia, japan or jerman. i’m convinced to buy their product with the voucher RM150, the product is about RM3280-RM150=RM3130 (induction cooker). but i tell the staff, i don’t have the cash to pay them. after that, they asked me just to pay deposit RM300 cash, then the balance RM2830 will be paid after the staff of ecohood help me to sale my induction cooker and also master filter. in that situation, i feel interested not (was-was) for the 2nd offer and aggreed.
1st offer, i bring back the product, but 2nd offer,all free gift and the produt that i bought, is still with them because RM2830 not paid yet. the staff promise to send the VIP dinner ticket later.
dear all, what must i do??? coz i spend RM3199

My wife just conned by Ecohood yesterday at Tesco Tebrau, JB. 1st, they give free gift, then voucher RM200, then got free microwave oven which cost RM3000+. In order to get microwave oven FOC, must buy their promoted item. My wife chosed induction cooker which cost RM3388-RM200=RM3188. Many problematic things you can find if you are alert:
Do you beleve, give you a free gift microwave oven cost RM3000+, buy induction cooker RM3000+. Ecohood sure bankrupt. These RM6000+ cost product definitely are very much less then RM6000+. Some more no warranty, no Sirim sticker. In fact, they sure earn a lot. Later, I will go to make a police report. Then bring the police report to get refund from them. Or I will ask police to accompany me to investigate / arrest them. Bye

Hey, people. Becareful of the new company. Exwell is disappeared in 1Borneo… They’re already ran away. I found out there’s another company like Exwell cheating people in SANDAKAN. They’re using the same tactic… They’re using the computer to trick people. I know staffs there. I saw them many times in 1Borneo. Boy and girl. Now, me myself and my wife saw them (the same face) in SANDAKAN Batu 4 Servay few days ago. I know this Exwell since my wife had been cheated for RM5000++ and got stupid poor louzy products. Our instalment repayment agreement they never done.

The part that i’m angry about is where the sale person ask for my card..saying that they have this device that can help check whether my a/c have money and can use the fund inside as so call “deposit”.. the next thing i know that dame person didn’t even ask my consent and printed out RM300 from my account (use ATM card lagi tu)!!.. i was surprise and told him i want to cancel the whole thing and he said that my RM300 have been credited directly to their company and no refund!! unless i want to use it to exchange for other item…WTF…ahhhh sooo frustrated!!..
Btw before that, like all the case above they ask me to play on the computer and bla bla bla i won FREE one Induction Cooker and one Massage Hammer devices…and RM100 voucher which have to be use to purchase one of the item on sale…(term : own use, take picture, cannot sell off item) and those jerk persuaded me to take this water filter (which look like a big gas clinder)…one of them keep talking (brain wash) me and the other keep asking for my card…and WHAMM…the next thing i know sayonara RM300!!!.. Of cause i called my bank and it was completely useless….telling me to call the bank HQ to make complain (without a doubt is a waste of time and credit!!) I’m going to go back there again to demand my money back (if possible)…

I just been con last nite.shit.i juz walked out from emart after bought a a4 paper,file and other.same story as above voucer bla bla computer game,win a home theater,massage and a voucer rm100.without i realise,i juz give my bank card and pin n0.walla,rm500 gone from my account.i feel so angry after i know i was con and launch the police report but the police didnt want to take a police report but take my receipt and then when to emart to get my refund and ask me to wait for they call.i was suprise coz police say dont want this thing to be big by n0t taking my report.i want to report to KPDNKK but if i dont have police report,what the use.are miri police afraid the ecohood or they makan rasuah?even i get my rm500 back dont feel satisfied and make me hate Emart.

I am one of the victim that been cheated by Ecohood,but I have made a police report and also went to complaint at KHDNHEP is a government sector and they will protect consumer, Now Ecohood agreed to refund all the money. I almost got conned by Ecohood’s representative outside of Everrise outlet at 7th Mile Kuching. They gave me drinking bottle as a free gift while I’m walking out of the store, I took it and they asked me to register in the so-called “Customer Survey” list. After that gave me a discount voucher worth “RM200″ saying I can redeem if I want. Suddenly the stupid salesboy tried to play trick on me, asking me where I got the voucher (when just a minute ago he bloody gave it to me). I guessed the trick backfired, as I realized how fishy the whole “free gift” thing is. I quickly walked away, despite both of them trying to stop me. I swear if one of them even touch me, I will kick them in the balls. All they got from me is my name written on their fucking list, but nothing else. I lodged a complaint to KPDN, and when I checked the case on line, all I got is “In Process” or “dalam Tugasan”. The status finally changed to “Case Closed” a month after that. But, nothing happened. The officers didn’t even have the courtesy to infom me whether the case is solved or otherwise. And yet they talked about GTP/ NKRA/KRA shits day and nite…… I just lost faith in our system and Government.
To others, remember, when you encounter something similar, just walk away. A genuine electronic and electrical suppliers/ traders/agents will sell their goods from their shop, not from kaki lima of a supermarket. And the genuine shop wont be “so generous” with free gifts/ discount vouchers/ lucky draws. Remember that!!!!!
