You know how it feels when you were a teenager but you want to be a grown-up real fast, and later on wanting to go back to your high school days when you’ve become an adult. I guess some of us have that experience before. When i was in Form 5, i wanted to reach the age of 18 and later when i was 18, i wanted to be 21. This was driven by the fact that I thought grown-ups have more freedom and they can enter places like karaokes and discotheques.

Once you started to work and you begin to experience working life - demanding bosses, busybody colleagues, traffic jams, no more eat at home foods, increasing expenses - then reality hits you and you start to miss thos old days … when you were studying and you had nothing to worry about. You either walk, take a bus or driven to school. Study. Play. Get your daily / weekly allowances. That’s basically about it. Of course, there’s the exam preparations part, but that doesnt really bother me cos I am not the study hard student , but that doesnt mean i end up in the last 10 places in class :).

Ahhh .. time flies by so fast. One minute, you’re that fresh high school graduate with an SPM / STPM certificate in your hands .. the next minute, you’re a working adult with a kid. Have lost contact with most of my good friends in high school except for a few close ones and all married with kids already.

One of them just gave birth late last month and her baby had difficulty in breathing. She had to stay in the hospital to monitor her child. Just called her again this morning and they are already back at home after 1 week’s of hospital stay. She was pretty upset cos her baby had many needle marks on the arms and feet. I said that at least her baby is well and at home now. *Thank You* Later, I heard the baby’s voice cos he was just beside my friend in the bedroom. Oh, so cute, like how my baby was back when I just gave birth.
