I know. I know. This was yesterday’s news but i have yet to post about it. Anyway, our not so beloved Malaysian Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi (Pak Lah) is set to marry this coming Saturday. This comes after the passing of his wife, Datin Seri Paduka Endon Mahmood in 2005.

But the main subject of talk in the country is … who he will be marrying. It is none other than Jeanne Abdullah (Jeanne Danker), 53, the belated Datin Endon’s ex-sister in law, who was married to Datin’s younger brother but have separated 15 years ago.

Pak Lah was reported as saying that they both love each other. But at the same time, his belated wife’s memory will continue to be present and that his love for her is still very strong. I’m not really sure about that. Excuse me, but his wife passed away barely 2 years ago and now he is remarrying. Looks kinda desperate to me.

Jeanne had served as a supervisor at the Deputy Prime Minister’s official residence and also as manager of the Seri Perdana complex. She is kinda pretty for a lady of her age. She looks a bit like that Datuk Ng Yen Yen. In my opinion, this Pak Lah must have been in love with her even when the wife was still very alive. The PM said that the coming wedding will be a modest one. Of course, with the general elections coming around the corner, the last thing he would want to do is leave an impression with the rakyat that he is having a lavish wedding and let ppl guess where his money come from.

Blah …if we can get Saturday off because of this wedding, i’ll be the first to congratulate him :P. Nah, i dont think so .. Anyway, congratulations to the two old love birds !
