There’s a variety of cars right now in the market. The most common category of cars has got to be sedan or so called family cars. Most brands have sedan cars in their automotive range - Ford, Toyota, Honda, GM, Kia, Hyundai and Nissan. I’m considering to change our family car or buying another one. What i would like most would be an MPV .. you know something like

Toyota Ipsum

or the

Honda Stream

MAN likes Nissan Murano but this is definitely off the budget as one unit of Nissan Murano here in Malaysia costs around RM350k (US$100k). Did you know that in the US, the Nissan Murano only sells at a dirt cheap US$28k to around US$31k. That is 70% cheaper than those sold in Malaysia.

PS: You know how come it is so expensive, because our very greedy and most Malaysians know it Malaysian Government want to include a number of taxes to the car. We have import tax, sales duty tax and all kinds of blardy taxes on cars. Regular Malaysian suffers but those minister-minister and cronies get all the benefits.

Does anyone know the price of a Toyota Spacio in Kuching, Sarawak? This car is pretty nice too. I saw a pretty new model here the other day. The car plate was QAFxxx and the car is white in car. It looks a bit like Toyota Wish and longer too, unlike the previous model.

Another car that i like (not necessarily i can buy or afford) is the Toyota Prius. This is an environmental friendly, hybrid car. It is one of the top-selling cars and even celebrities are going ‘green’ and this includes Leonardo Dicaprio, Salma Hayek, Brad Pitt, Alicia Silverstone, Ewan McGregor, Tom Hanks and Prince Charles.

Sadly, i dont think that hybrid cars will enter the Malaysian any sooner. Imagine this .. if ppl are using hybrid cars .. this means that fuel consumption will decline. And guess who will take less profits … you got it right, didnt you ?
