I am an avid foodie and though i dont really cook as much as i want to and nor am i the very genius cook ..  …  i have some sort of Chef aspiration. You can follows cooking shows or competitions such as Iron Chef and be awed by the awesomeness of these great chefs.

I have been following the Masterchef series on Starworld (Channel 711 on Astro Malaysia) and recently watched Masterchef Malaysia on Astro Prima. Err sadly Malaysia one is not on par. I have no idea why, but even like Malaysian Idol and that dancing competition (cant remember the name) the shows really lack the oomph and the great talents that you see on US reality shows. Why is that so? I dont think i am bias …. even the colour or contrast of the video is oh so lame. Comments also biasa biasa, coming from so called famous Malaysian chefs. Perhaps they are too nice, ala if like that no need to become a judge, come invite me ! hehehehe.

By the way, do you have any idea where we can buy super nice spice racks ? I dont really have a spice rack at home because i use regular containers to store that 250gm or 500gm of salt and sugar. Well sugar here is sold in 1kg bags and salt in 500gm bag. There are so many types of spice racks available, regular kitchen spice racks and wall spice racks. Stores like SpiceRackSource has some really nice fancy spice racks .. arghhh, gotta get one, gotta get one. Maybe SpiceRackSource can send me one for free hahahhaa
